The second volume of the Rickie Talos retrospective of photorealistic images is now available. Picking up from where the first volume left off, the book covers the post-pulp years of 1950-1979.
The era of classic pulp magazines came to an end in 1949, but Rickie’s life went on. The book is divided into four sections: the 1950’s:

And a special section chronicling Rickie’s friends and lovers across the decades.
There are also fun artistic depictions of Rickie as if from famous artists of the time, like Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.
Did Rickie meet Hugh Hefner in the 1950’s?
And Ron Ely in the 1970’s? She sure did.
Overall, there are forty photorealistic portraits of Rickie across the years, done by Doc Talos co-creator R. Paul Sardanas. For lovers of the classic character Pat Savage, the book provides both an admiring tribute and a visual adventure.
